Job Posting: Sales & Marketing Department Manager

Location: Southeast Texas

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Department Manager. This role is critical in overseeing daily sales operations and working closely with other departments such as Estimating, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to drive business growth, especially in the EPC and oil and gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the sales department.

  • Collaborate with department heads to refine sales strategies and deliverables.

  • Lead marketing campaigns to promote sales and address customer concerns.

  • Conduct regular meetings with sales staff to review goals, identify opportunities, and adjust strategies.

  • Attend in-person client meetings to discuss service renewals or new offerings.

  • Hire, train, and mentor area sales staff, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

  • Set, execute, and oversee sales and promotional activities, meeting targets and quotas.

  • Design and implement effective sales strategies and improvement processes.

  • Maintain a professional work environment and develop corporate workplace processes.

  • Direct all local, regional, and national sales activities, campaigns, and promotions.

  • Track and analyze sales metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Handle and resolve customer complaints efficiently, providing solutions and improvements.

  • Work with senior management on pricing schedules and sales issue prevention.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the EPC and oil & gas industries.

  • A well-established network of clients and proven business generation experience.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using sales management tools like V-Tiger or similar systems.

  • Advanced time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent analytical skills to identify sales trends and patterns.

  • Ability to mentor and guide sales representatives toward achieving goals.

  • Experience in planning and executing sales strategies and campaigns.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
