(To fill an Inside Sales Engineering position – Sales experience not required)
Direct Hire

This Junior Engineer (Inside Sales Engineer) will actively pursue new and selected existing project opportunities and manage these projects either directly or in coordination with the field sales organization. In addition, the Inside Sales Engineer will act in support of the field sales organization with calculations, analysis and proposals for customers. The Inside Sales Engineer assists in the achievement of, and acts in support of, the sales of company’s products into approved markets in support of assigned company goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners effectively with Sales Engineers and Representatives to increase territory sales and maintain positive OEM and distributor relationships. Serves as internal sales support for Sales Engineers and Representatives to achieve or exceed sales goals.

  • Works collaboratively with Engineers in all projects, including analysis, calculations, proposals.

  • Provides quality service to internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding company values at all times to insure high customer satisfaction.

  • Provides support to field sales representatives by traveling to and assisting with analysis of customer site situation, and developing product recommendations.

  • Ability to analyze manufacturing process, either on site or through blue prints and drawings, calculate required vent areas and recommend appropriate products for a given customer/OEM/representative.

  • Other travel in support of sales or training meetings, and/or trade shows as required

  • Works with company approved tools and assets.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Training in Engineering, Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering preferred, but many other engineering disciplines could transfer well

  • Excellent verbal, written and telephone skills supported by strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team structure.

  • Ability to learn and retain product-specific information as it pertains to the position.

  • Computer literacy required: Microsoft Office, database, other

  • Experience in the use of CAD equipment for preparing routine layouts a plus!
