Job Opportunity: Controls Engineer
About the Role:
Join our team as a Controls Engineer, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of electrical control circuits and machine software in a production environment. Your role is vital in maintaining and improving equipment performance to meet production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and work with electrical switches, relays, sensors (pressure, temperature, etc.), digital and analog devices.
- Program PLC/PAC machine controls and HMI interfaces, including modifying existing templates.
- Design safety circuits and understand safety categories.
- Program ancillary devices such as servo systems, robotics, vision systems, and motion controllers.
- Generate, communicate, and implement innovative ideas and solutions.
- Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks on time.
- Seek ways to improve and promote quality.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Completion of a two-year technical college program in the Electronic/Electrical field or a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Proficiency in interpreting industrial wiring schematics and diagrams.
- Understanding of basic industrial controls circuitry (e.g., emergency stop, motor starting circuits).
