Overview
We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Molecular/Cellular Biologist to join our dynamic team, dedicated to disrupting therapeutic protein and virus production. This pivotal role requires an independent, motivated individual adept at advancing our technology toward full commercialization. You’ll be instrumental in cell engineering, vector design and construction, transfection, mammalian cell culture, cloning and screening, and leveraging related molecular and cellular biology techniques. Collaboration with colleagues and pharmaceutical partners is fundamental to this role’s success Management responsibilities, both present and future, will evolve based on experience and developmental trajectory within the company.

Qualifications
Required

  • PhD in a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Extensive experience in creating recombinant mammalian cell lines, ideally within pharmaceutical settings.

  • Proficiency in mammalian cell culture techniques.

  • Demonstrated expertise in molecular biology techniques for vector design, construction, and mammalian cell transfection.

  • Familiarity with protein assay techniques for screening transfected cells.

Preferred

  • Experience with flow cytometry, virology, cell banking, and transposase transfection methods.

  • Knowledge of protein analytical methods.

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for creating and testing cells intended for GMP manufacturing.

  • Proficiency in photo microscopy.
