Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour depending on experience, plus a shift differential for Overnights

  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday – Tuesday and every other Wednesday

  • Annual Bonus: You will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus of up to $1,250.00

What’s a typical day as a Production Technician? You’ll be:

  • Monitoring the hourly throughput of the Inserting/Finishing machines to ensure they are running at optimum capacity and verifying that all jobs are completed according to predetermined schedules

  • Supporting production operations with all equipment-related issues

  • Maintaining and servicing Insertion/Finishing statement production equipment and ensuring sufficient inventory of spare parts

  • Completing all records tracking preventive maintenance, including lube logs and departmental procedures

  • Assisting in developing a revolving maintenance schedule for all Insertion/Finishing related equipment and ensuring that maintenance occurs according to scheduled deadlines

  • Performing other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent

  • Possess good oral and written communication skills and can work effectively under time constraints

  • Can stand while working throughout the duration of your assigned shift

  • Are able to lift, carry, and move 25+ lbs. throughout the duration of your assigned shift

  • Have proven proficiency in the operation, repair, and maintenance of insertion/finishing equipment

  • Have experience and understanding in spare parts/repair parts control, parts ordering, budget, and documentation

  • Have experience and understanding for documentation, scheduling, and performing Preventive Maintenance of Insertion/Finishing equipment

Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in a production technician role

  • Proficient with all hand tools and basic mechanical repairs

  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits both AC and DC

  • Functional/technical skills to include basic Windows PC hardware and software

  • Attention to detail with Good oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure due to time constraints as necessary
