Machine Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a safe and efficient manner. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a keen attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Full-time, Contract-to-Hire
– Location: Palmetto, FL
– Pay Rate: $20/hr
– Shift: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Set up, operate, and maintain machines according to established procedures and guidelines
– Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are running smoothly and producing high-quality products
– Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
– Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary
– Maintain accurate records of production output and machine maintenance activities
– Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
– Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications & Skills:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is highly preferred, specifically in bottling
– Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow directions
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision
– Basic computer skills and proficiency in using machinery controls and software
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
– Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
– Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required (up to 50 lbs.)
