NOW HIRING A QUALITY INSPECTOR IN DOWNERS GROVE, IL
12 MONTH CONTRACT TO HIRE
1ST SHIFT; MON- FRI; 7AM - 3:30PM
PAY RATE: $25/HR – $30/HR (DOE)

Overview:

As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in GD&T and precision measurement tools like calipers will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for high-quality energetic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed inspections of components and assemblies using GD&T principles to ensure compliance with all engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to measure parts for conformance to specifications.

  • Interpret technical documents, including blueprints, and schematic drawings to identify measurement requirements.

  • Record inspection results, complete inspection reports, and maintain records of quality checks.

  • Work collaboratively with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending changes to improve the manufacturing and quality processes.

  • Participate in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; further certification in mechanical or quality engineering is a plus.

  • Strong experience with GD&T, including a thorough understanding of symbols, terms, and concepts.

  • Proficiency in using calipers and other precision measuring tools.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
