- Temp to hire opportunity
- $25-28/hr
- Position can be worked fully remote. Must be within driving distance of the office in Valley City, ND for the first day to get setup with IT
SUMMARY
- Perform all tasks related to the timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with state laws and tax obligations.
- Perform tasks pertaining to Benefit enrollment for New Hires, Qualifying Events, and Open Enrollment.
- Support employees by answering questions pertaining to Benefits enrollments and Payroll.
- Reconcile monthly benefit carrier invoices.
- Assist HR Director with project management for any cyclical processes (e.g. Open Enrollment), as well as any Payroll/Benefit system updates across the organization.
- Prepare periodic reports and perform a variety of administrative duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3+ years of payroll and/or benefits experience
- Paychex experience a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
