Job Summary:
As a Customer Supply Chain Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing operating costs and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order fulfillment process of a regional distribution center. Your expertise in logistics and supply chain management will contribute to the overall success of our operations. This position offers the flexibility to work onsite at our Preston, WA location 2-3 days a week or work from home, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Full-time
– Location: Preston, WA (onsite 2-3 days a week or work from home)
– Pay Rate: $22-$29 per hour (depending on experience)
– Shift: To be determined based on department and business needs

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Track inbound product from manufacturing facilities to 3PL distribution centers and outbound product from 3PL distribution centers to distributor partners, ensuring customer order fulfillment and supporting to fill KPI targets.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managed transportation partner, 3PL distribution centers, and the Talking Rain Sales team designated customer ship-to region.
– Oversee the customer order process, including order creation (order portal, EDI, and manual), release, planning, and delivery.
– Manage out of stocks (OOS) and the order allocation process, effectively communicating ongoing shortages to customers and the Sales team when necessary.
– Validate and verify lead-time and order status in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management System (TMS), or Warehouse Management System (WMS).
– Collaborate with Sales, Planning, 3PL, and Quality teams to meet customer demand and performance targets.
– Reconcile sales cycle information for end-of-month processes.
– Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, and SQF practices, promptly reporting any issues to the immediate supervisor.
– Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
– Up to one (1) year of Supply Chain experience, preferably in consumer-packaged goods (CPG).

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
– Exposure to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management System (TMS), or Warehouse Management System (WMS) is preferred.
– Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
– Demonstrates emotional control and composure under high-stress situations, effectively managing frustration through constructive solutions.
– Proactive in understanding goals and driving results, actively seeking self-development opportunities, and looking for ways to impact and influence within the role.
