Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Benefits: Once converted, the client offers benefits including but not limited to health insurance, vision, dental, PTO, 401(k), life insurance.
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

What’s a typical day as a Material Handling Specialist? You’ll be:
• Operating deburring and finishing sheet metal components
• Operating deburring handheld tools and deburring machine
• Performing secondary operations such as countersinking and hand tapping
• Modifying parts on the Shear and Punch Press as needed
• Handling raw material and finished parts
• Inspecting the quality of all parts produced
• Operating other fabrication equipment when required
• Performing preventive maintenance of equipment
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
• Assisting on other production operations as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have a strong understanding of fabrication processes
• Are proficient at reading technical blueprints
• Have experience setting up and operating laser, brake press, punch press (desirable but not required)
• Are proficient with the metric system
• Have excellent communication skills and are teamwork-oriented
• Are self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Can execute tasks in a dynamic and changing environment
• Have the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse workforce
• Have experience operating Amada equipment (a plus)
