Production Planner- 100% Onsite in Newark CA

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Temp to Hire

$29-$44/HR- DOE

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Production Planner to join our Operations team. A qualified candidate must be willing to learn new techniques quickly and be able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast- paced and growing environment. We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Production Planner to achieve our inventory and production goals.

MUST HAVES:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience supply chain management.

  • Experience with MRP/ERP software.

  • Experience in ISO 13485 and GMP environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of the Master Resource Plan and Production Schedule with Manufacturing and QC functions to satisfy the forecast

  • Maintain strong working relationships and communications directly with customer service, procurement, manufacturing, QC, and shipping to communicate lead times; maintain FG inventory levels to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor the accuracy of the inventory through reports and cycle counting

  • Inventory Management: ensure appropriate inventory levels for finished products are planned and maintained; maintain accurate transaction level detail of inventory transfers in the ERP System; coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

  • Create and maintain new part numbers, BOMs, etc. in the ERP System.

  • • Review and maintain safety stock levels.

  • Other ERP-related tasks and projects as require

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience supply chain management.

  • Experience with MRP/ERP software.

  • Experience in ISO 13485 and GMP environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Detailed knowledge of materials management, regulations, procedures, and records.

  • Experience in reagents-related business; familiarity with planning shelf-life restricted products.

  • Strong team player and self-starter with the ability to work independently.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with Expandable Software (ERP).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
