Title: Computer Hardware Test Technician
Location: Georgetown, Texas
Shifts: 1st (7:00am – 3:45pm) / 2nd (3:00pm – 11:45pm) / 3rd (11:00pm – 7:45am)
Pay Rate: $18.50 (1st); $21.28 (2nd); $23.13 (3rd)
About The Role:
As a Computer Hardware Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting production tests, conducting failure analysis, and performing repairs to meet quality standards and delivery timelines. Working closely with cross-functional teams, your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction through excellence in your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system tests, setup for tests, updates, and verifications.
- Execute system test scripts and processes diligently.
- Identify error codes and troubleshoot system errors for corrective actions.
- Carry out system hardware repairs following established procedures.
- Manage and escalate issues affecting system tests, ensuring effective communication with peers, team leads, and supervisors.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support 5S activities to enhance operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- An Associate’s degree in IT, a Technical School Certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications are a plus.
- Experience with configuring Microsoft OS VISTA/WIN7/Server/Office suite and basic Linux knowledge.
- At least 1 year of experience in PC system-related hardware or networking
