Job details

Kelly Science is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a growing client located in Lenexa, KS.

Pay: $22/hour -& an additional $2 applied to weekend days worked.

Shift options:
Wednesday-Friday 5:30am-2:00pm & Saturday- Sunday 9:00am-5:30pm
OR
Wednesday-Sunday 9:00am-5:30pm
OR 
Monday- Friday (MTW 9am start Th/F 6am)

Job Duties include:

  • Perform tissue and viral culture of cells for vaccine production within a clean room laboratory environment.

  • Daily gowning with sterile hood coveralls, goggles, facemask, two pairs of gloves and clean room boot coverings.

  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs for laboratory practices, quality assurance, laboratory support and other SOPs.

  • Assist in the preparation of growth medium and cryoprotectant medium to be used during various vaccine production processes.

  • Assist with laboratory support practices and general maintenance/organization of the laboratory.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP & CFR Title 9 requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related scientific field preferred. High School Diploma required.

  • Previous experience working within a GMP environment strongly preferred.

  • Must be able to gown in/out of a cleanroom environment, must be able to stand for long periods of time, and able to lift/carry up to 50lbs.

  • Must be reliable, attentive to detail, and able to follow SOPs.
