Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable professional to join our team. As an Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for processing and managing all incoming invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your role will be crucial in maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Full-time – Temporary
– Location: Appleton, WI
– Pay Rate: $22/Hour
– Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Process and review incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures
– Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
– Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
– Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues related to invoices or payments
– Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and reconciling accounts
– Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations
– Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
– Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills
– High level of integrity and professionalism
