Position Summary:
The SQF Practitioner develops, implements, and maintains SQF Programs and the Food Safety Plan, supporting the quality team on various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Food Safety and Quality System programs, including GMP and quality records.

  • Prepare for and lead audits.

  • Oversee corrective actions from audits.

  • Lead HACCP and Food Safety Teams, sharing metrics monthly.

  • Ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, and local regulations.

  • Communicate essential information to staff.

  • Conduct training for food-grade team members.

  • Monitor critical control points and validate records.

  • Address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Update programs with new requirements and keep the site audit-ready.

Education & Experience:

  • 3 years of SQF/HACCP experience

  • Knowledge of Food Defense, PCQI, and Internal Auditing

  • Skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and basic SAP

  • Understanding of food safety systems
