Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking an experienced hire in food quality and safety for a direct-hire (permanent) position with one of industry partners in Missouri. Position Summary:
The SQF Practitioner develops, implements, and maintains SQF Programs and the Food Safety Plan, supporting the quality team on various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Food Safety and Quality System programs, including GMP and quality records.
- Prepare for and lead audits.
- Oversee corrective actions from audits.
- Lead HACCP and Food Safety Teams, sharing metrics monthly.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, and local regulations.
- Communicate essential information to staff.
- Conduct training for food-grade team members.
- Monitor critical control points and validate records.
- Address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Update programs with new requirements and keep the site audit-ready.
Education & Experience:
- 3 years of SQF/HACCP experience
- Knowledge of Food Defense, PCQI, and Internal Auditing
- Skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and basic SAP
- Understanding of food safety systems
