Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $16 – $19 per hour based on experience
Shift available: 1st shift

What’s a typical day as a Material Prepper? You’ll be:
• Operating and understanding various machines and equipment to prep raw sheet or roll material according to work order routing instructions
• Following verbal and written instructions provided by the supervisor or through the work order
• Recording the length of time and quantity of materials used for each job
• Identifying material issues and minimizing disruptions in the work order process
• Suggesting better processes or methods to increase yield and labor rate
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
• Assisting in training fellow employees or temps on machines, blueprints, routings, and policies
• Notifying management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and personal injuries

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
• Have intermediate math skills
• Show proficiency in time management and planning
• Exhibit dexterity and organizational skills
• Have a stellar attendance record
