Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Shift: 1st-6:00am start time

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Mechanic? You’ll be:
• Performing skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities mechanical components and electrical systems in accordance with SOPs, internal requirements, manufacturer’s specifications, and safety policies
• Developing, maintaining, and securing a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools
• Recommending purchase of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies as required
• Assisting engineers in developing methods and procedures to improve facility efficiency and workflow

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma/GED
• Have one or more years of related experience in facilities/equipment/mechanical maintenance
• Hold certifications as an Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Mechanic, or Machinist (highly preferred)
• Have knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance procedures, basic carpentry and plumbing, basic blueprint and schematic reading, basic AC/DC electrical and electronic principles, basic metal fabrication and welding, and basic industrial controls
• Have experience with automated conveyor systems and controls, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs
• Have the ability to troubleshoot basic Input/Output functions
• Have excellent working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic theory
• Have the ability to lift routinely up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift items weighing 70 pounds
• Have the ability to operate a forklift and write routine reports and correspondence
• Have strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a friendly, professional attitude with excellent communication and listening skills
