Sourcing Specialist
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG , a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Sourcing Specialist at one of our Global clients in West Palm Beach, FL or Raynham, MA. This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a Kelly OCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. You ll also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time. All Kelly OCG employees receive annual performance reviews. As a Sourcing Specialist placed with Kelly OCG you will be responsible for the following:
Qualifications:

  • 4 years experience in sourcing or supply chain or equivalent working with suppliers on business terms and pricing, quoting, supplier selection process, negotiating

  • 4 years experience in medical devices field

  • College degree

  • Proficient in MS Office/Office 365

  • Ability to read/understand schedules and Gantt charts

  • Work experience or employment with a medical devices manufacturer

Day to Day:

  • Seek qualified suppliers from Procurement Category Managers by sharing new product drawings or other information.

  • Send/receive RFQ’s and RFP’s to Suppliers

  • Collate and compare supplier responses to RFQ/RFP

  • Conduct supplier down-select process and meeting with internal stakeholders.

  • Schedule and/or attend weekly supplier meetings during development/NPD phase of project. Take meeting minutes/action items and distribute.

  • Negotiate business terms and pricing, cost reduction schedules with suppliers and execute supply and distribution agreements with support of JnJ legal department.

  • Enable suppliers to successfully deliver validation lots of products by exercising project management skills, conducting meetings, holding stakeholders accountable for action items.

  • Report COGS to Supply Chain team.

  • Report standard costs to Finance team.

  • Coordinate with Planning for issuance of initial production purchase orders.

  • Continually report progress, risks to line manager throughout the process.
