Pay Range: $60 – $80 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Type: Direct Hire through Kelly
Location: On-site, Field Position
Additional Compensation: $130 per diem
Schedule: 7/12 Schedule with 14th-day fatigue day

Are you ready to take on an exciting opportunity in Sulphur, LA? Kelly is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Controls Cost Analyst for a Direct Hire opportunity.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Overall responsibility for all activities related to the project control functions on the site and for ensuring that project control policies and procedures are followed.

 

  • Implements project control procedures that are appropriate for the project execution strategy and maintains the Field Project Control Plan.

 

  • Adheres to budgets and schedules in conjunction with the project management and construction management teams and applies the project control systems to be used for monitoring, trending, and predicting all components of construction cost.

 

  • Makes sure reporting changes are inputted into the field control systems on a timely basis and that trends and predictions reflect the project scope and experience.

 

  • Maintain and Prepares project control reports for management and for the Client as required by company and project procedures.

 

  • Oversees the performance of quantity take offs for work installed at site.

 

  • Attends Client and Subcontractor as required for planning, scheduling, progress and cost review meetings as appropriate, taking the lead in presentations, explanations, and discussions with the Client and Subcontractor on topics related to project controls.

 

  • Supervises, coordinates, and oversees training and professional development, and evaluates the performance of assigned members of the site Project Control Team to ensure expanded work knowledge and capabilities of the team members. 

 

  • Responsible for implementing forecasting process consistent with company and project guidelines.

 

  • Requires proficiency to work effectively and efficiently with others using fundamental interpersonal skills conducive to teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of project controls experience, specifically within a refinery environment.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.

  • Field-oriented professional with the ability to work on-site and interact with various project teams.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
