We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to work at a premier client in Windsor, CT. Sound good?

Location: Windsor, CT 

Pay: $18 – $20/hr 

Shifts Available: Monday-Friday 

  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM 

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 

Pay Rate: $18 – $20/hour (Shift differential eligible)

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble preformed sheet metal parts using drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, high-pressure carts, and hammers. 

  • Operate equipment with safety in mind for both yourself and fellow employees. 

  • Assemble and pressure test valves and similar components. 

  • Accurately interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches. 

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

  • Log daily tasks on manufacturing or production travelers. 

  • Complete other assignments as directed by supervisors. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred in the mechanical assembly of preformed sheet metal parts and using mechanical tools. 


  • Physical Requirements: Ability to move safely over uneven terrain, work in restricted spaces, climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs, kneel, bend, and stand for long periods. 


  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and measuring scales or tapes. 


  • Other Skills: Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, familiarity with tablets and computers. 

Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
