At Kelly®, we’re seeking an Administrative Assistant to work in Deer Park, TX.
Pay Rate: $20-$24 pending expereince
Schedule: 40 hour work week (Mon- Fri)
Administrative Assistant:
• Providing professional administrative support to a group of employees under the direction of team leadership
• Coordinating small site packaging and shipping
• Maintaining document retention within the Document Management Systems, Sharepoint, and Teams
• Serving as a point person for general team questions or guidance
• Acting as the technical office equipment focal point to enable daily effectiveness
• Taking ownership in your work and demonstrating good problem-solving skills
• Prioritizing competing requests successfully and multitasking
• Owning and updating administrative procedures according to document management guidelines
• Leading improvement projects regarding document management systems
• Acting as a department focal point for external vendors and service providers
• Documenting actions and managing programs including safety programs, audits, and corrective actions
• Booking conference rooms, ordering food/drinks, and escorting visitors/guests
• Attending meetings to assist with presenting materials or taking notes
• Using business software applications and staying up-to-date on changing technology
• Helping manage schedules for team leadership
• Maintaining inventory and ordering office supplies
• Attending group meetings and participating in Empowerment team meetings and activities
• Learning and understanding Dow’s safety behaviors and intervening when seeing unsafe behaviors
• Listening carefully and attentively to others, working to build effective relationships, and keeping others informed of the status of assigned work
• Acting as an administrator for management of change, document management system, and expense reporting
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have previous administrative experience
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize competing requests
• Are proficient in using business software applications such as Microsoft Office, Logbook, WebEDMS, and SAP
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are a team player with a desire for continuous learning
