Shift is 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday
Pay rate is $23.10 + per hour BOE

What’s a typical day as an Electrical Assembler? You’ll be:

• Supporting Electrical Work Orders on rolling stock projects
• Assisting with Electrical Bench work such as assembly of wiring harness and kitted materials
• Supporting Electrical Facility Preventative Maintenance and repairs
• Coordinating with the Electrical Supervisor and Warehouse and Supply to stage materials for daily production tasks
• Assisting with the installation of various support electrical power supplies and testing equipment
• Reading detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and electrical schematics
• Promoting job safety and awareness
• Managing assigned tools and ensuring they are in good working order

 
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a trade electrician certification or electrical manufacturing/maintenance background
• Have vocational training or an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Engineering (a plus)
• Possess knowledge of complex electrical system installation and/or overhaul of major equipment
• Have experience with technical drawings and schematics
• Are familiar with various electrical equipment such as Multi-Meter, Oscilloscope, Megger, etc.
• Have basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. desired)
• Have experience using SAP on the shop floor (a plus)
• Have transportation manufacturing or maintenance experience (a plus)
• Have good interpersonal skills and can function as a team member in a manufacturing environment
• Are an independent, self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team
• Have strong communication, listening, and analytical skills
