1st Shift Assembly Specialist – Machine Assembler

 

Join a leading company as an Assembly Specialist – Machine Assembler, where you’ll be responsible for performing complex machine assembly tasks. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in machine tool assembly or manufacturing to thrive in a hands-on environment.

Location: Farmington CT 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm (Overtime Available)
Pay: $23/hour
Duration: Long-term temp, up to 1 year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex assembly tasks with precision.

  • Use both inch and metric measurements.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, part lists, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the assembly process.

  • Contribute to process improvements focused on productivity, efficiency, and working conditions.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Attend relevant meetings and implement decisions.

  • Follow company rules, Quality Standards (TQS), and participate in Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machine tool assembly or 5 years of experience in machine tool parts manufacturing, maintenance, or service.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.

  • Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints.

  • Experience with accurate measuring devices required.

  • Electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy are pluses.

  • Forklift license is a bonus.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
