GMP Aseptic Cleaning Technician

Location: Winston Salem NC
Shift 1: Sun-Wed 3:00p to 1:30a
Shift 2: Wed-Sat 3:00p to 1:30a
Hourly Pay Rate: $20-$22 depending on experience

 

The Aseptic Cleaning Technician is essential for ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of our Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility. This position upholds strict industry standards and regulatory requirements to minimize contamination risks and support the production of high-quality cell therapy products.

Key Responsibilities:

Aseptic Cleaning:

  • Conduct routine and thorough cleaning and sanitization of cleanrooms, production areas, and laboratory environments in accordance with GMP guidelines.

  • Utilize approved cleaning agents and disinfectants following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Employ aseptic techniques to prevent contamination and maintain sterility.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Complete and maintain cleaning logs, batch records, and necessary documentation accurately.

  • Ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Equipment and Supplies:

  • Handle and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies appropriately.

  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning materials and communicate needs to the supervisor.

  • Store all cleaning tools and materials correctly to avoid contamination.

Safety and Training:

  • Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Engage in ongoing training programs to remain updated on GMP regulations and best practices.

  • Report any deviations, non-conformances, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and other teams to ensure a coordinated approach to cleanliness and compliance.

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of cleaning procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Additional certification in aseptic techniques or GMP training preferred.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a GMP facility or pharmaceutical environment preferred.

  • Familiarity with aseptic cleaning procedures and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.

  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Good documentation practices.

  • Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Capability to lift and move objects up to [specific weight, e.g., 25 pounds].

  • Willingness to wear required protective clothing and equipment.
