Kelly Science has exciting contract to hire Environmental Monitoring Analysts openings in Winston Salem NC available on the Quality Control Microbiology team. Our client is seeking detail-oriented individuals to join our team. This position involves routine environmental monitoring and support activities in a GMP facility.
Location: Winston Salem NC
Shifts: Sunday-Tuesday 7am-6pm and Wednesday 7am-2pm (40 hours) OR
Thursday-Saturday 7a-6p and Wednesday 11a-6p, (40 hours)
Hourly Pay Rate: $20-$25 depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine environmental monitoring of GMP areas.
- Conduct personnel monitoring for manufacturing operations.
- Set up and operate environmental monitoring equipment.
- Follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and protocols.
- Assist in the reading, revising, and training on SOPs, WIs, forms, and protocols.
- Support QC Micro Analyst in sample receipt from manufacturing.
- Track and trend data collected on environmental monitoring, bioburden, sterility, and endotoxin.
- Perform inventory stocking in QC labs and request new materials from the warehouse.
- Conduct streaking and isolation of recovered organisms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education/Training: High School Diploma required, AS/BS in scientific field highly preferred
- 1 year of EM or Microbiology experience
- Experience: 1-3 years; previous experience in a GMP facility
- Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read and understand schedules.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as in a team.
- Understanding of the importance of compliance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.).
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to read and understand schedules.
