Kelly Engineering’s client has asked for our help in finding a Senior Project Manager for an executive-leadership position responsible for the development & leading project-teams to provide expert solutions to a multitude of complex projects.

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Lead and develop project teams for complex electrical, critical power, and turnkey renovation projects.

  • Manage projects ranging from $20M to $200M+, including normal/emergency power, lighting, and specialty systems.

  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior project leaders, superintendents, and tradespeople.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8-12+ years in Construction or Program Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred).

  • Expertise in managing self-performed and subcontractor work.

  • 5+ years in federal, local, commercial, government, and transportation sectors.

  • Proven leadership of diverse teams with project values from $20M to $200M+.

  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Accubid, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to obtain security clearance if required.

  • Strong background in project management, contract administration, estimating, and project controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor project teams to ensure collaboration and positive work environments.

  • Coordinate and plan project kick-off meetings and develop work breakdown structures.

  • Perform site surveys, cost studies, and budget forecasting.

  • Identify cost-saving measures and ensure quality improvements.

  • Monitor project scope, performance, budget, and timelines.

  • Manage project schedules in collaboration with customers.

  • Oversee permits, licenses, and inspections for projects.
