Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $16.50
7am-4pm M-F, Contract to Hire position thru Kelly Services

**Prior warehouse experience required**

What’s a typical day as an Ink Packager? You’ll be:

  • Operates ink-making machinery and equipment.

  • Reads and interprets batch tickets and adhering to work processes and procedures.

  • Processes and completes documentation accurately by recording information on batch tickets, labels containers, packages inks and inspects customer products per requirements.

  • Meets production schedules and metrics and ensuring quality products are produced. 

  • Follows all safety and regulatory compliance procedures.

  • Attends all required meetings and training.

  • Maintains adherence to “The Kao Way” standards at all times.

  • Responsible for continuous improvement according to the Kao Collins culture.

  • Inventory control activities.

  • Loads and unloads

  • Other duties as assigned by production management.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Experience and/or Education Requirements:

  • Employee must have a high school degree or equivalent.     

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

  • Prior experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is preferred.

  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently.

  • Operate a Powered Industrial Truck (forklift, pallet jacks, lift trucks, etc).   Training to operate industrial trucks is provided by the company.

  • Sound judgment to make decisions regarding the sequence of setups, operations and processes within the limitations of standard operating.
