Pay is $19 – Must be able to work both 1st and 2nd shift

What’s a typical day as a General Warehouse Operator? You’ll be:
• Receiving and processing trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading during September-October
• Completing a wide range of harvest activities, such as husk and sort operations • Operating the dryer to dry crop within prescribed safety, quality, and financial requirements
• Shelling and storing crop from bins in the dryer facility
• Supplying the Conditioning department with a constant supply of seed and applying appropriate treatment
• Labeling, tagging, bagging, and palletizing seed from November-March
• Entering inventory information into the computer and staging seed for shipment in the warehouse
• Retagging in-house seed, re-bagging backhaul seed, inspecting and washing pro boxes as necessary from April-August

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have knowledge of production agriculture and production plant operations
• Can safely perform duties in a timely fashion while maintaining seed quality
• Are able to work independently or with a team and adjust to changing conditions • Can make independent decisions
• Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings
• Have reliable transportation to the site and can arrive as instructed
• Maintain enthusiasm, a good attitude, honesty, and a willingness to treat all with respect
• Can work long hours and rotational shifts, including overtime as needed
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Can lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds, work in and outdoors, and walk on uneven surfaces
