ADAS Test Technician at Nissan

We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual seeking a challenging opportunity to test and validate the future of driving by supporting our ADAS Advanced Driver Assistance System test and team at Nissan’s Arizona Test Center in Stanfield, AZ. In your role as ADAS and Test Support technician, you will be collaboratively working with a team performing ADAS system performance testing on Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Test activities include test and instrumentation preparation, on track testing and data collection per Nissan methods, data analysis and reporting, and certification and quality checks. In addition, the technician will support system improvement, countermeasure development, and process enhancement.

  • Test vehicle preparation and test execution: Ballast and align vehicles; update vehicle hardware and software systems as needed brake / VDC / chassis components, software settings as needed

  • Install data acquisition equipment; collect vehicle test data via multiple data acquisition systems; perform tests consistently and accurately to repeatedly produce high quality data

  • IT Support: Support equipment operation and configuration, tool creation and SW related development of test environment

  • Driving support: Support and participate in proving ground and public road driving events led by engineering staff to evaluate and validate system performance

  • Data processing: Process raw data into completed form for analysis by engineers; organize data for review by senior technician or engineer, using Excel, CANape, and other tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.  Associate’s degree is preferred.

  • Must be self-motivated to learn, perform and grow in a dynamic team environment

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skill appropriate to cross cultural/cross functional work environment

  • Must be willing to work overtime and be a team player

  • Must be able to self-manage deadlines

  • Must have prior vehicle test or automotive technician experience; ADAS test experience preferred

  • Use of the Microsoft Office suite required; data acquisition experience preferred

  • IT experience, software and script development preferred

  • Relatively clean driving record
