Kelly is seeking a professional and personable Administrative Assistant – Receptionist to manage our front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring smooth office operations.
Administrative Assistant – Receptionist
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Salary: $18-$25 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Flexible options available (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area with necessary stationery and materials.
- Provide accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Ensure office security by following safety procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges, manage safety video orientation).
- Update calendars, schedule meetings, and manage office directories.
- Perform administrative tasks such as typing, entering work notifications, onboarding new employees, ordering materials, and contacting vendors as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers).
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Resourceful and proactive with problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
- SAP experience preferred but not required.
