Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Inventory Manager – Scientific for a year-long engagement at one of our Global client in Fishers, IN. This role is a full-time, fully benefited position. As a Kelly OCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K, and a variety of other benefits to choose from. Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation: $29-$38/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the tracking of incoming vendor inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any discrepancies or delays in shipments.
- Update and maintain timelines for new and ongoing shipments, providing clear and accurate reporting on shipment status.
- Prepare regular updates, reports, and presentations on inventory status, shipment timelines, and operational insights for the team.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet Clinical demands.
- Collaborate closely with the CDMO and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between inventory and operational needs.
- Utilize Excel and Smartsheet to track, analyze, and report on inventory metrics.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems for inventory management and reporting.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving inventory processes and reducing operational inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards related to inventory management and product handling.
- Coordinate closely with the fill and finish operations to ensure seamless production flow and inventory availability.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Smartsheet for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, and fill & finish operations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present updates to cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly with fill and finish operations.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations and compliance.
