Our client is seeking a continuous improvement engineer for their manufacturing /distribution facility in Charlotte, NC. Those with 3-5 years’ experience as an Industrial, Process or other Engineering discipline who has solid experience with lean manufacturing principles is highly desired. Great opportunity to be the owner of this new role in a leader of their industry.

  • Continuous Improvement Engineer

  • Contract to Perm- $40-$50/HR

  • M-Friday work schedule

Summary:

  • Investigating, analyzing, and assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of current processes and procedures in a packaging distribution environment.

  • Must have the ability to Track, Trend, and Improve processes I n fast paced environment.

  • Document detailed data to share with stakeholder and management of what is known about current processes and how to make recommendations for improvement.

  • Make recommendations to project teams for data tracking that follows the Implementation standards as well as building a process that will properly track data with essential KPI’s.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Engineering Required

  • Knowledge with lean manufacturing, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, working with project teams

  • Six Sigma Certification desired
