We’re seeking a Warehouse Specialist to work at a premier client Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00 an hour.
What’s a typical day as a Warehouse Specialist? You’ll be:
• Working in a team-oriented environment by picking, preparing, and palletizing finished goods for shipment.
• Operating forklift or other equipment as required in the movement of material within the distribution center.
• Following all company and job-specific procedures.
• Meeting all facility standards applied within select departments.
• Picking, checking, overpacking, consolidating, and processing parcel cases as necessary.
• Ensuring accuracy of shipments received and putting products into available locations.
• Processing returns and completing appropriate paperwork for customer credit.
• Using appropriate carrier systems and tools to ship products.
• Ensuring warehouse documentation is sorted and ready for filing at the end of the day.
• Performing general housekeeping duties.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have the ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Have good verbal and written skills.
• Can work with minimal supervision.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a current forklift certification; stand-up forklift preferred.
• Have motorized (electric) pallet jack certification (a plus).
• Are proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of warehousing experience.
• Have Oracle experience (preferred).
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
