Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Inventory Clerk in Shelbyville,KY to join our team. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining and tracking inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded, ordered, and received. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to perform physical tasks related to inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and track inventory levels.
- Count and track inventory, keeping detailed records.
- Place orders for products to ensure inventory is available.
- Receive inventory and ensure it is accurately recorded.
- Audit inventory levels regularly to maintain accuracy.
- Perform computer work, including using Microsoft Office, Excel, and email.
- Report inventory levels and movements.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Good personality and phone skills.
- Ability to lift up to 48 lbs.
- Ability to climb steps.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary:
- $18.00 per hour
