Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Lead
Shift: 2nd, 3:30pm to 2am, Wednesday-Saturday
Pay Rate: $24.50/hr.

Job Title: Reach Truck Operator
Shift: 2nd, 1:30pm to 10pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr.
Job Summary:
The Shipping Receiving Lead is responsible for leading the department in ensuring that all shipments are properly received, and all documentation is verified.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Motivate: Direct employees using effective performance management techniques, including establishing expectations and goals, providing recognition and feedback, and addressing performance problems.
- Task Assignment: Review shipment orders, stage, and assign tasks to appropriate personnel.
- Schedule Review: Work with the supervisor to review the schedule and establish a plan for the evening shift.
- Problem Solving: Address day-to-day issues regarding Shipping/Receiving services.
- Visitor/Driver Assistance: Greet and assist visitors/drivers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipping and receiving documents.
- Cash Handling: Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers if applicable.
- Scheduler Maintenance: Maintain WMS Scheduler, hard copy schedules, and updates visual aids for traffic flow.
- Driver Verification: Verify paperwork with and release drivers once paperwork is completed.
- Receipts and Product Verification: Complete receipts including pallets for loads. Verify product and product count to ensure accuracy of data entered in computer.
- Appointment Arrangement: Arrange outbound pick-up appointments for carriers and customer pickups. Call carriers for late and/or no-show trucks and reschedule appointments as necessary.
- Compliance: Follow HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year of Shipping Receiving experience and 1 year of managing others required.
- Skills:
- Strong computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Great attention to detail.
- Must be a team player.
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, or different shifts when needed to ensure business is operational 24/7.
- Strong computer skills.
