At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Optical Assemblers to join our innovative manufacturing team in Pittsford, NY. With us, it’s all about providing the perfect opportunity for your career to flourish!

Pay: $20-24/hr. (Depending on experience).
Day Shift: 7am to 3:30pm, Mon-Fri. Temp to hire. 

Position Overview:
As an Optical Assembler, you will assemble, measure, assess, and evaluate optical elements and systems. You will use measurement equipment, follow manufacturing processes, and ensure quality and precision in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, align, and test lenses, components, and systems.

  • Follow manufacturing procedures for assembly and testing.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues with sub-assemblies and components.

  • Measure and record lens parameters, test and repair assemblies.

  • Set up and calibrate lab equipment, and document processes.

Required Skills:

  • Cooperative attitude and eagerness to learn Optical Technology.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings; experience with micrometers and optical measurements preferred.

  • Effective communication and computer skills.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Optics preferred.
