What’s a typical day as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk? You’ll be:
• Performing incoming and outgoing inspections of all parts coming to and from the company
• Completing supplier documentation for all quality assurance requirements
• Performing general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move shipments
• Examining shipment contents and verifying accuracy with records
• Counting, packing, sealing, and labeling materials for shipping
• Recording shipment data for reporting and recordkeeping purposes
• Maintaining the shipping and receiving area and inventory
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have familiarity with inspection equipment
• Are familiar with First Article Inspections, sample, and visual inspection procedures
• Can read and interpret drawings, dimensions, and tolerances of machined parts
• Are thorough and diligent
• Have basic computer and math skills
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Are familiar with operating packaging tools and material handling equipment
