We’re seeking a Logistics Clerk to work at a premier carbon black manufacturing company in Big Spring. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25 an hour Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

What’s a typical day as a Logistics Clerk? You’ll be:
• Providing administrative and clerical support within the Shipping Department.
• Maintaining accurate records and producing key reports.
• Communicating with all related functional departments at the local plant.
• Greeting visitors and guests and handling incoming phone calls.
• Creating regular and ad hoc reports for the Shipping Department.
• Filing documents to maintain production records.
• Producing shipping confirmations and generating shipping paperwork.
• Communicating with onsite lab personnel to obtain product quality approval.
• Forwarding shipping confirmations to customers and ensuring appropriate placards are affixed to shipments.
• Producing, reviewing, and distributing shipping schedules and instructions.
• Validating and logging all car weights from the railroad and communicating information directly to the customer and corporate.
• Creating copies of production railcar and truck shipments for local and corporate office tracking.
• Reviewing, validating, and processing bills of laden (BOL) for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Transmitting load ahead cars.
• Performing other duties as needed by the Shipping Department or as assigned by supervisor.
