Job Title: Procurement Analyst
Pay: $28-$30 per hour
Position Type: Temporary, Full-time (15 months)
Hours: Monday- Friday; Steady days
Work Location: Saskatoon, SK

Kelly is now hiring! Our client located in Saskatoon, SK is hiring a Procurement Analyst for a 15-month contract to help them out with their operations and procurement work. If you enjoy this type of work, then you’re the best person for this job! Under the guidance and support of the Category Manager, the Buyer will be responsible for the following tasks:
 
Responsibilities:

 

  • Facilitate the automation of purchasing processes, streamline supplier payment terms and address invoicing issues.

  • Managing and executing Purchase Orders to support operations while adhering to procurement policies.

  • Optimizing purchasing within their designated area for cost, delivery, and quality.

  • Minimize redundant transaction volumes and supplier fragmentation, and improve transactional efficiencies.

  • Collaborating with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely resolution of any associated invoices for processing.

  • Identifying issues with issued purchase orders and collaborating with the site to resolve them, especially concerning discontinued, and long lead time materials.

  • Handle transactions within Oracle & SAP ERP programs, as well as the Ariba network.

 About you:

  • Minimum 3 or more years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Strategic sourcing.

  • Knowledge and experience with MS Excel and E-Procurement systems (Oracle, Ariba and SAP).

  • Power BI experience is an asset

  • Proactive and able to effectively communicate data requirements, deadlines, and process steps in a clear and constructive manner.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills; attention to detail.
