Kelly® is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to work for one of our clients. Our client is a bedding manufacturer in Monroe, NC. **MUST have experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial environment – MUST have electrical experience working with 110V and 480V. 3 phase as well**

Pay Rate: $22-25/HR Depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5AM-3:30PM (must be willing to work 2nd shift and/or weekends when needed) 
Location: Monroe, NC
Duration: Permanent position with benefits

What’s a typical day as a Facility Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:
• Performing repairs associated with sewing machines and/or garnets.
• Performing repairs associated with manufacturing machines and other equipment such as air compressors.
• Changing filters in heating/air conditioning units.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues.
• Changing fluorescent light bulbs and repairing ballasts.
• Performing repairs associated with plumbing issues.
• Utilizing carpentry equipment for equipment repair and fabrication.
• Conducting preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Maintaining the fire protection sprinkler system.
• Changing outdoor lights.
• Filling out paperwork associated with repairs.
• Ordering spare parts and helping maintain the spare parts inventory.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are conscientious about attending to detail.
• Make effective use of technology to achieve results.
• Have knowledge of Manufacturing Safety Guidelines.
• Have solid decision-making skills.
• Have basic PC skills in a Windows environment.
• Have an electrical background and know how to read electrical prints.
• Can troubleshoot electrical issues with little or no supervision.
• Have knowledge of VFD and programming a VFD.
• Have knowledge of 110V and 480V, 3 phase.
• Are open to new ideas and a problem solver.
• Are a self-driven and motivated individual.
• Are willing to work as a team player and weekends as needed.
• Are willing to work 2nd shift if needed.
