Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Radiologic Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global medical device clients in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role is a full-time, fully benefited position. As a Kelly OCG employee, you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time.

Monday through Friday: 8AM-4:30PM, alternating weekends as needed
Compensation is $30-33/hr standard, shift differential for any weekends of after 6PM

Travel up to 5%

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide radiologic technical assistance in preparing for and conducting human cadaver labs in Clinical Simulation Dept. 

  2. Provide overall lab technician assistance in preparing for and conducting inanimate (harvested animal tissue or human cadaver) in Clinical Simulation Dept. 

  3. Assist with positioning or removing cadaveric tissue 

  4. Ensure that lab areas, including surgical pods and surgical support areas are set-up and maintained with appropriate tissue type, instrumentation and lab equipment.

  5. Ensure that lab areas, including surgical pods and support areas, are restored to proper order at the end of lab. This may include appropriately disposing of single-use items, and putting away lab equipment.

  6. Cleaning instrumentation after use. Includes hand scrubbing to remove debris and machine washing.

  7. Maintain lab and instrumentation cleanliness in compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.

  8. Ensure proper documentation and record keeping in compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.

  9. Maintain inventory of instrumentation, supplies, and equipment in compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.

  10. Routine maintenance (annual) and non-routine maintenance on assigned equipment responsibilities; including but not limited to the C-arm

  11. Adherence to company and department protocol guidelines for lab procedures; including but not limited to fluoroscopic radiology procedures. 

  12. Complete all required training in areas of responsibility within allotted time.

  13. Participate in required annual health surveillance program (including the completion of blood-borne pathogen training, as needed).

  14. Participate in quarterly audit sweeps to maintain regulatory and departmental compliance.

  15. Collaboration with internal and external associates and customers in the planning and execution of hands-on training labs. This include but is not limited to: Health Care Professionals, Third Party Vendors and other Dept. (Marketing, Sales, etc.).

  16. Lead and execute projects not necessarily associated with radiology. 

  17. Ability to work early mornings and evenings when necessary

  18. Flexing time when possible if overtime is anticipated. 

  19. Perform any other job responsibilities assigned by supervisor. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Education:
 

  1. Associate degree required. 

  2. ARRT registration (RT (R)) with experience in C-arm fluoroscopy. 

  3. Current FL license required.

Skills and Experience 

  1. Bilingual: specifically Spanish and/or Portuguese 

  2. Effective oral and written communication skills.

  3. Excellent organizational and math skills. 

  4. Excellent customer service skills. 

  5. Strong leadership skills.

  6. Ability to follow directions and work under pressure.

  7. Comfortable working in a medical lab setting environment with human cadaveric tissue and harvested animal tissue.

  8. Team player; ability to work well with people of varying opinions and backgrounds. 

  9. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

  10. Familiarity with anatomy; including but not limited to spine, hip, and thoracic regions.
