Kelly is seeking a highly organized and dedicated Material Storeroom Coordinator for a permanent position with our client in Peterborough. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing storeroom activities, facilitating product procurement and distribution, and supporting shipping, receiving, and vending machine operations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless operations, delivering outstanding customer service, and coordinating effectively with internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the onsite team and lead buyer to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Investigate and purchase products from qualified vendors using client and in-house purchasing systems.

  • Expedite and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.

  • Provide storeroom assistance, manage inventory, and oversee stock put-away and removal processes.

  • Manage RFID portal and implement tagging procedures for accurate inventory management.

  • Use multiple purchasing and inventory management systems for expediting and vending processes.

  • Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including small parcel management, stockroom organization, and in-plant deliveries.

  • Support vending machine maintenance, repairs, and ensure timely stock replenishment.

  • Conduct regular inventory counts, track work orders, and prepare requisition orders.

  • Issue, receive, and distribute parts and supplies while maintaining accurate records in inventory control systems.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, parts departments, and couriers for local pick-ups and deliveries.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storerooms and manage shelf-life items.

  • Assist with kitting, motor room, filter room, and gas cylinder management.

  • Participate in safety management initiatives and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience in inventory management, procurement, and storeroom operations.

  • Preferred experience in shipping, receiving, and vending machine maintenance.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude is an asset.

  • Proficiency in inventory management software such as SAP, along with MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information:

  • A background check will be required.

  • Work hours Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.

Compensation/Perks:

  • Salary range: $50,000–$60,000 per year, plus a yearly bonus.
