Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.50/hour
Shift:  8:00am – 4:30pm

What’s a typical day as a Workers Compensation Claims Handler? You’ll be:
• Setting up and entering new claims into the claim management system, ensuring accurate claim coding and proper documentation
• Performing critical claim technical tasks, including plant investigations and 3-point contacts
• Conducting interviews with claimants, employers, medical professionals, legal counsel, and witnesses, and preparing thorough investigation summaries
• Assisting in the management of all elements of claim files to reduce medical costs, lost time duration, and litigation expenses
• Collaborating with medical, human resources, and labor to facilitate a return-to-work plan for workers compensation and related absences
• Supporting other claim representatives with larger or more complex claims as necessary
• Processing medical and related expense payments

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 1-3 years of related Workers Compensation experience
• Have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Can interpret and analyze complex information
• Work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
• Can organize and prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities
• Are able to work a flexible work schedule
• Maintain professional client relationships
