Field Service Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR
Salary Range: $70K – $85K
Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Expected Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 PM
(This position requires overtime and weekend work.)

About the Role:
Kelly Engineering is proud to partner with an innovative client in Beaverton, OR, to help them find a talented Field Service Engineer. Our client specializes in advanced manufacturing solutions, delivering cutting-edge technology to a wide range of industries. In this role, you’ll support field installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and performance evaluations of their high-tech equipment.

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll work directly with customers to ensure equipment is functioning at its best. You’ll be an integral part of maintaining the smooth operation of systems that power modern production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex equipment installations, tests, and overhauls

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and expert solutions to resolve technical issues

  • Analyze and interpret large sets of data to assess product performance

  • Train customers and internal staff on system use and maintenance

  • Document job activity and maintain comprehensive service records

  • Deliver outstanding service by working closely with customers to resolve issues quickly and effectively

About Our Client:
Our client is a leader in the manufacturing technology space, driving innovation in automated assembly and production solutions at their Beaverton location. This site is known for producing world-class equipment that powers efficient, cutting-edge production processes across multiple industries. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting their customers and maintaining the high-performance standards of their equipment.

What You Bring:

  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in a related field 

  • A self-starter mindset with excellent hands-on skills for solving complex technical problems 

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with experience in hardware, software, and application issues

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis

  • Practical knowledge of PLS/PRS software products and systems

  • An Associate’s Degree in a STEM-related discipline (required)

  • Fluent in English, with Spanish language skills being a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • The ability to work on-site, including bending, standing, and lifting machine parts up to 50 pounds

  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends to meet customer demands

  • Ability to travel as needed to customer sites – local travel
