We’re seeking a Trust Analyst with experience in reconciliation for a special project (3 + month project with good possibility for the contract to be extended) to work at a premier financial institution in Farmington Hills, Michigan This opportunity could be the one you’ve been looking for.

The Trust Analyst is responsible for performing analytical functions designed to meet the needs of the Trust Operations unit. This includes production support, exception processing, reconcilement duties, process enhancements and overall customer service. Position Competencies for a candidate would possess integrity and trust, listening skills, problem solving skills, are focused on the customer and have a drive for results.

What’s a typical day as a Trust Analyst? You’ll be:
• Compiling, reviewing, and analyzing the department’s various regulatory reports and submitting them to the appropriate authorities by established deadlines
• Completing and reviewing cash and security reconcilements, analyzing and resolving variances
• Reviewing and analyzing exception reports and taking necessary action to resolve issues
• Acting as an escalation point for customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution
• Producing and analyzing ad-hoc customer report requests
• Creating, maintaining, and updating desktop procedures and checklists
• Assisting in small to medium projects as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor’s degree and 6 months of financial service OR a High School Diploma (or the Equivalent) and 3 years of financial service or operations experience
• Have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level
• Ability to independently drive issue resolution/variance resolution/problem solving
• Reconcilement abilities
• Prior accounting experience
