QC Laboratory Supervisor – Dallas, TX

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently recruiting for a QC Laboratory Supervisor with major manufacturing company that specializes in cosmetics, food/beverage and dietary supplements in Dallas, TX. 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all activities and staff in the QC Chemistry Lab

  • Manage daily operations, tasks, scheduling, and analyst training

  • Implement quality and regulatory requirements

  • Initiate and execute changes to lab testing procedures

  • Lead investigations into Out-Of-Specification (OOS) results and implement corrective actions

  • Schedule and review analytical validation protocols

  • Approve analytical data and release finished goods/raw materials

  • Prepare the lab for and participate in inspections and audits

  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to analytical methods

  • Troubleshoot instruments and methods within established parameters

  • Review lab records for cGMP compliance

  • Develop and implement strategies for achieving scientific goals

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the analytical lab

  • Assist in creating SOPs, policies, and procedures for the department

  • Comply with company policies and procedures

  • Perform QC Lab Technician/Chemist duties as needed

  • Conduct annual reviews of lab data, generate reports, and present findings

  • Supervise department staff, coordinate performance management with the QC Lab Manager

  • Provide training, feedback, and performance reviews to direct reports

  • Enforce company policies

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a pharmaceutical/dietary supplement lab

  • Expertise in chemistry testing procedures and development

  • Deep understanding of ISO 17025 and 21 CFR GMP regulations

  • Excellent communication, listening, and instruction skills

  • Strong visual observation, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities

  • Manual dexterity for using lab equipment

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
