Position: Financial Purchasing Analyst
The Finance Analyst job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
- Experience using Oracle or a similar purchasing system to create, edit, and receive purchase orders and invoices (required)
- Experience with reconciliation or auditing of invoices (required)
- Strong customer service skills/orientation, strict attention to detail, and a high degree of organization (required)
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (required)
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial operations (preferred)
What’s a typical day as an Accounting/Finance Analyst? You will:
- Create purchase orders using Oracle
- Update and maintain a general ledger to ensure all accounts payable transactions are allocated in a timely manner
- Analyze quotes and follow up with vendors to verify the accuracy of all invoices
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with suppliers by communicating and providing information regarding their purchase orders and invoices
