Pay rate: $18/hr
Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
What’s a typical day as a Billing Clerk? You’ll be:
• Utilizing computer skills to perform data entry and customer service tasks.
• Navigating databases and websites to gather necessary information.
• Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in data entry tasks.
• Multitasking and documenting information to resolve billing issues.
• Researching and problem-solving to ensure eligibility requirements are met.
• Providing excellent communication skills through phone calls and email correspondence.
• Handling customer service calls related to billing inquiries.
• Assisting with general phone duties and call forwarding as needed.
• Displaying patience and a positive attitude when dealing with Medicare participants.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Possess excellent data-entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Have experience in customer service and problem-solving.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills both over the phone and through email.
• Can handle a high volume of phone calls and multitask effectively.
• Are patient and positive when dealing with elderly Medicare participants.
