Full Time Contract for a Senior Manager, BPO Process Management – Indirect Procurement.
This is a Remote Opportunity. Working hours will be Eastern Standard Time.
Salary range up to $140,000k
The Global Supply Management (“GSM”) Global Supply Chain (“GSC”) Indirect Global Procurement (“IGP”) organization seeks to leverage support for Indirect Global Procurement BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Function with Business Process Management, Optimization & Continuous Improvement Services, working closely with IGP Procurement Teams, Outsourced Managed Service Provider(s) (MSPs) and other Functional Owners including but not limited to Business Owners, COE, Legal, Privacy, Insurance, Cyber Security, Finance, 3rd party vendors, etc. Indirect Procurement BPO includes the following core functions: Procurement Operations, Contract Management, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, IGP Support (Reporting/Tools/Training), and more.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Business Process Capture & Documentation: From verbal discussions and recorded demonstrations performed by users, extract and guide step by step sharing of work procedures, then tactically document detailed, click-by-click, scripted SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for MSP to execute, maximizing automation opportunities. Lead pilot testing with Managed Service Provider to ensure successful execution. Define boundaries between activities the internal retained organization will perform, support the MSP with executing, and what will be fully outsourced to the MSP.
- Continuous Improvement: Optimize and streamline ways of working design, documentation, quality control procedures, and continuously improve/ enhance SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and workflow. Perform audits, root cause analysis and design/implement sustainable corrective actions/ plans.
- Automation/AI: Enable and maximize automation of routine tasks systematically.
Qualifications:
Relevant Work Experience: 8+ years with global, complex, strategic initiatives/ corporate environment. Management consulting background preferred but not required.
Function Specific Experience-Business Process Management (Required): 4+ Years process optimization, process design, capture/documentation, continuous improvements, and project management.
Function Specific Expertise-Indirect Procurement (Required): 4+ Years with Focus on Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Purchasing/Procurement Operations (combination preferred).
Function Specific Experience-BPO/Outsourcing (Preferred): 2+ years BPO experience (vendor management, outsourcing, offshore service provider/program management, supplier performance/ relationship management, governance). Procurement BPO highly preferred. Accounting/Finance BPO acceptable. Other functions considered.
Category Specific Expertise-4+ Years (combined) of any two of the following: IT, Professional Services/Consulting, HR, Marketing, MRO, Facilities, Utilities, Capex.
