$19/hour
1st shift Monday-Thursday 6 am-4 pm
FOUR DAY WORK WEEK/3-DAY WEEKEND EVERY WEEK!
What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Associate? You’ll be
The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and starting equipment, producing product, and breaking-down and cleaning the equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area
• Follow oral and or written work instructions
• Ensure cleanliness of the workstation when beginning work
• Verify and feed raw materials into the production process
• Ensure products produced meet quality and food safety standards
• Check yields and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate production records
• Monitor machinery for malfunctions
• Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues
• Report food safety problems
• Clean workstation and equipment at shift-end
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures, General Manufacturing Principles safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct
• Participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety
• Perform other duties as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• • High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
• Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required..
